1. Welcome Message
Welcome to Rathore Sangam! This app exists to help members of the Rathore community connect with one another — whether that's finding a prospective match, discovering local businesses, staying up to date with community news, or learning about upcoming events.
These Community Guidelines explain how we expect everyone to behave on the platform, so that Rathore Sangam stays a safe, respectful, and trustworthy space for the whole community. Please read them alongside our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which these Guidelines do not override.
2. Purpose of the Community
Rathore Sangam brings together four things the community asked for in one place:
- Matrimony profiles — to help members find a prospective spouse within the community.
- Community news — to help members stay informed about what's happening.
- Community events — to help members discover and share local happenings.
- Business directory — to help members find and support community-affiliated businesses.
Every feature on the app is built around one idea: helping real community members connect with other real community members.
3. Our Community Values
We ask every member to act in line with these values:
- Respect — treat other members the way you'd want to be treated.
- Safety — think about your own safety and the safety of others.
- Authenticity — be who you say you are, and say what's true.
- Privacy — respect the privacy choices other members make.
- Community trust — your good conduct helps keep this a trustworthy space for everyone.
- Responsible behavior — use the app thoughtfully, and take responsibility for what you post and how you interact with others.
4. Respect Other Members
Every interaction on Rathore Sangam — comments, replies, profile messages, anything — should be respectful.
- Communicate politely, even when you disagree with someone or aren't interested in continuing a conversation.
- No harassment of any other member, in any form.
- No bullying, including repeated unwanted comments, mocking, or ganging up on someone.
- No intimidation, including threatening language or behavior intended to scare or pressure another member.
This applies everywhere on the app — on profiles, business listings, news posts, events, and in comments and replies.
5. Authentic Profiles and Information
Rathore Sangam only works if people are honest about who they are.
- Use your real identity — your real name, your own photos, and accurate personal details.
- Keep your information accurate and up to date across your account, profile, business listing, and any content you post.
- Never impersonate another person, business, or organization.
- Don't create an account or profile on behalf of someone else without their knowledge and permission.
6. Matrimony Profile Guidelines
A matrimony profile carries real weight — people make important life decisions based on what they see here. Please take that seriously:
- Be honest. Don't misrepresent your age, education, profession, income, marital status, family background, or any other detail on your profile.
- Use recent, accurate photos of yourself. Don't use someone else's photos, heavily edited images, or pictures that no longer represent how you currently look.
- Interact responsibly. Be respectful and genuine when reaching out to or responding to other members.
- Remember: we don't verify profiles. Rathore Sangam does not check identities, backgrounds, or any claims made on a profile. Before making any important decision — including deciding to meet someone, share more personal information, or move toward an engagement — independently verify what you've been told, through family, trusted contacts, or your own research.
7. Business Listing Guidelines
If you list a business on Rathore Sangam:
- Provide accurate business details — name, category, description, contact information, location, and hours.
- Represent your business honestly. Don't exaggerate or misstate what your business offers.
- No fraudulent listings. Don't create fake businesses, list a business you don't operate or represent, or use a listing to run a scam.
- Other members rely on your listing being genuine — a fake or misleading listing damages trust in the whole directory.
8. News and Event Posting Guidelines
When you share community news or post an event:
- Accuracy matters. Only post information you believe to be true and correctly described.
- Keep it relevant to the community — news and events should be genuinely useful or interesting to other members.
- Contribute to the community benefit. Posts should add value, not clutter or confuse.
- Don't post intentionally misleading dates, times, locations, or descriptions for an event or news item.
9. User-Generated Content Rules
Everything you create on Rathore Sangam — profiles, photos, descriptions, comments, replies, and posts — should follow the same basic rule: it should be something you'd be comfortable standing behind.
- Photos — should be your own, appropriate for a community platform, and not misleading.
- Descriptions (profile bios, business descriptions, event/news descriptions) — should be honest and accurate.
- Comments and replies — should be respectful and relevant to the content they're posted on.
- Posts (news, events, listings) — should follow the specific guidance in Sections 6–8 above.
You are responsible for everything you post, even after you've moved on from it.
10. Prohibited Content
The following is never allowed on Rathore Sangam, in any feature of the app:
- Hate speech, or content that attacks or demeans people based on caste, religion, gender, or any other characteristic
- Threats of any kind
- Violent content, or content that promotes or glorifies violence
- Harassment of any other member
- Stalking, or any pattern of unwanted attention toward another member
- Obscene content
- Sexually explicit content
- Any form of child exploitation (see Section 11 — this is an absolute, zero-tolerance rule)
- Fraud or fraudulent claims
- Scams of any kind
- Fake identities or impersonation
- Spam, including repeated unwanted messages or content posted purely to promote unrelated services
- Misinformation, including knowingly false news, event details, or profile information
- Any other content or activity that is illegal under applicable law
If you see content like this, please report it — see Section 15.
11. Child Safety Standards
Rathore Sangam has a zero-tolerance policy toward any content or behavior that endangers children. This is non-negotiable:
- No child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, in any form, anywhere on the platform.
- No child exploitation of any kind.
- No grooming behavior — any attempt by an adult to build an inappropriate relationship with a minor, or to solicit a minor for any improper purpose, is strictly forbidden.
- Rathore Sangam is intended for adults aged 18 and over (see our Terms and Conditions, Section 3). Accounts found to belong to a minor, or used to target minors, will be removed.
Any content or behavior that violates this section will be removed immediately upon discovery, and we will take appropriate action against the responsible account, including reporting to law enforcement or relevant authorities where required by law. If you encounter any content or behavior of this nature, please report it to us immediately using the contact details in Section 17 — do not engage with it, and do not share or forward it.
12. Privacy and Contact Information
Privacy matters on Rathore Sangam, and we expect members to respect each other's choices:
- Respect contact privacy. Many members choose to hide their phone number and other contact details using the "Hide Contact Details" setting. Respect that choice.
- Respect hidden contact settings. Do not attempt to find, guess, request through other means, or otherwise bypass another member's hidden contact information. Pressuring someone to reveal contact details they've chosen to hide is not acceptable.
- No scraping. Do not use automated tools, scripts, or any other method to extract or "scrape" information from other members' profiles, listings, or posts.
- No mass collection of personal data. Do not attempt to collect, compile, or export other members' personal information in bulk for any purpose.
For full details on how your information is collected, used, and protected, see our Privacy Policy.
13. Community Safety Recommendations
We want every member to use Rathore Sangam safely. Here's what we recommend:
- Verify information independently. Don't take profile details, business claims, or news/event information at face value — especially anything that will influence an important decision.
- Exercise caution when communicating with people you've only met through the app, particularly before sharing sensitive personal information.
- Protect your personal information. Think carefully before revealing your contact details, address, or other sensitive information to someone you've just met on the app.
- Meet safely. If you decide to meet another member in person, choose a public place, consider telling a friend or family member where you're going, and trust your instincts if something feels wrong.
Remember that any communication or interaction that happens outside the app (for example, over WhatsApp or by phone call) is between you and the other member — Rathore Sangam has no visibility into it and cannot intervene in it.
14. Violations and Enforcement
If these Guidelines are violated, we may take action appropriate to the situation, including:
- Content removal — taking down the specific profile, listing, post, comment, or reply that violates these Guidelines
- Warning — notifying a member that their content or conduct violates these Guidelines
- Temporary restrictions — limiting certain account features for a period of time
- Account suspension — temporarily suspending access to the account
- Account termination — permanently removing the account from the platform
The action taken will depend on the nature and severity of the violation. Serious violations — such as those described in Section 11 (Child Safety) — may result in immediate termination without prior warning.
15. Reporting Concerns
If you encounter content or behavior that may violate these Guidelines, you may contact the platform through the official support channels listed on the website or application.
We review concerns raised to us and take appropriate action in line with these Guidelines and our Terms and Conditions. Reporting capabilities within the app may evolve over time as the platform develops.
16. Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in the app, our community's needs, or applicable law. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document when changes are made. Continuing to use Rathore Sangam after an update means you accept the revised Guidelines.
