These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rathore Sangam mobile application and any associated website (together, the "App" or "Service"), operated by Cloudstry Technologies Private Limited.

By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.


1. Introduction

Rathore Sangam is a community platform built for members of the Rathore community. It provides matrimony/matchmaking profiles, community news, community events, and a local business directory, along with related engagement features such as likes, comments, replies, and favourites. These Terms set out the rules that apply to your use of these features.


2. Acceptance of Terms

You accept these Terms by creating an account, and again each time you continue to use the App after these Terms are updated in accordance with Section 23. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App.


3. Eligibility

To use the App, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age. The App is intended for adult use in connection with matrimony and community engagement and is not directed at children.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.
  • Not be barred from using the App under the laws of India or any other applicable jurisdiction.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.


4. Account Registration

  • Accurate information. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and profile creation, and must keep that information up to date.
  • One account per user. Each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to misrepresent identity, evade enforcement action, or circumvent these Terms is prohibited.
  • Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account, including any device on which you remain logged in. You must notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your account access.

5. User Consent

Account creation requires you to affirmatively agree to our Privacy Policy and these Terms before your account can be created. Our Privacy Policy describes in detail what information we collect, how it is used, how it is shared, your privacy controls, and your rights, and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully at the link provided in the App or on our website.


6. Platform Purpose

Rathore Sangam operates as a multi-purpose community platform, providing:

  • A matrimony/matchmaking platform — enabling community members to create and browse profiles for the purpose of finding a prospective spouse.
  • A community news platform — enabling members to share and view news relevant to the community.
  • A community events platform — enabling members to share and discover community events.
  • A business directory — enabling members to list and discover community-affiliated businesses.

These features are provided as discovery and discussion tools. They are not a substitute for independent judgment, due diligence, or professional advice on any matter, including matrimonial, financial, or legal decisions.


7. User Responsibilities

When using the App, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information in your profile, listings, and posts, and correct it promptly if it becomes outdated.
  • Conduct yourself respectfully toward other users in all comments, replies, and other interactions on the App.
  • Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.
  • Take responsibility for any decisions you make based on information encountered on the App, including decisions to communicate with, meet, or transact with other users.

8. Matrimony Profiles

  • Accuracy is the profile owner's responsibility. Information in a matrimony profile (including personal, family, educational, professional, and astrological details) is entered by the user who creates it. We do not independently verify the accuracy of this information.
  • No guarantee of compatibility. We do not guarantee that any profile, match, or search result is compatible with you or suitable for any purpose.
  • No guarantee of marriage outcomes. Rathore Sangam facilitates the discovery of and connection with other community members. We do not arrange marriages, broker matrimonial agreements, or guarantee that use of the App will result in an engagement, marriage, or any other relationship outcome.
  • Independent verification required. You are solely responsible for independently verifying any information presented in a profile — including identity, marital status, education, profession, income, family background, and any other claim — before relying on it or acting upon it.
  • Third-party information in profiles. Where a profile includes information about a family member of the profile owner (such as a parent or sibling), that information has been provided by the profile owner, and we have not separately verified or obtained consent from the referenced family member.

9. Business Listings

  • Listing owner responsibility. The user who creates a business listing is solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of that listing, including contact details, pricing, hours, and descriptions.
  • No endorsement. The inclusion of a business listing on the App does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, or guarantee by us of the business, its products, its services, or its legitimacy. We do not conduct verification or background checks on listed businesses.
  • Users should exercise their own judgment, and conduct their own due diligence, before engaging with any business listed on the App.

10. News and Event Content

  • User responsibility. News posts and event listings are created by users of the App, and any registered user may publish such content. We do not employ editorial staff to verify these submissions before they are published.
  • Accuracy disclaimer. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any news post or event listing. You should independently verify any time-sensitive or material details (such as an event's date, time, or location) before relying on them.

11. User-Generated Content

You may create and submit various forms of content on the App, including matrimony profiles, photographs, comments and replies, news posts, event listings, and business listings (collectively, "User Content"). By submitting User Content, you represent that:

  • You own the rights to the User Content, or you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit it.
  • The User Content does not violate these Terms, the rights of any third party, or applicable law.
  • Where User Content includes information about another individual (such as a family member referenced in a profile), you are authorized to share that information for display within the App.

You remain responsible for your own User Content at all times. Other users may view, like, and comment on your User Content in accordance with your visibility settings and the Privacy Policy.


12. Content Restrictions

You must not use the App to post, transmit, or otherwise make available any content or engage in any conduct that:

  • Is fraudulent, deceptive, or intended to mislead other users (including misrepresenting your identity, marital status, or any profile, listing, or post detail);
  • Impersonates any person or entity, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity;
  • Constitutes harassment, bullying, stalking, or intimidation of another user;
  • Constitutes hate speech, or promotes discrimination or violence on the basis of caste, religion, gender, ethnicity, or any other protected characteristic;
  • Contains threats of harm or violence;
  • Is obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for a community-oriented platform;
  • Is illegal under applicable law, or promotes illegal activity;
  • Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to take action against content or accounts that violate this Section, as described in Sections 15 and 18.


13. Contact Information Visibility

  • Hide Contact Details. The App provides a "Hide Contact Details" setting that allows you to control whether your phone number and other contact information are visible to other users on your profile. When enabled, this information is not shown to or retrievable by other users through the App. We encourage you to use this setting if you do not wish to be contacted directly through the information on your profile.
  • No in-app blocking. The App does not provide a traditional "block user" feature. This reflects a deliberate community decision: members of the Rathore community commonly continue communication outside the App (for example, by WhatsApp or phone call) once initial contact is established, and the Hide Contact Details setting is the platform's primary mechanism for controlling who can reach you, rather than a per-user blocking tool.
  • Responsibility for information shared outside the platform. If you choose to make your contact details visible, or you share contact information with another user through comments, replies, or any other means, you are solely responsible for the consequences of that disclosure and for any subsequent communication that occurs outside the App (including over WhatsApp or by phone call). We have no visibility into, and no responsibility for, communications or interactions that take place outside the App.

14. Intellectual Property

  • The App, including its design, branding, logos, text, graphics, and underlying software, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App.
  • You retain ownership of the User Content you submit. By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of operating the Service and providing it to other users, for as long as the content remains on the App.
  • This license ends with respect to specific content when you delete that content, or with respect to your account data when your account is permanently deleted in accordance with Section 19, except where retention is required for a permitted purpose described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Platform Rights

We reserve the right, at our discretion and without liability to you, to:

  • Remove or restrict access to any User Content that we believe, in good faith, violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable law;
  • Suspend or restrict access to any account suspected of violating these Terms;
  • Investigate suspected violations of these Terms, including by reviewing reported content or account activity;
  • Take any other action reasonably necessary to protect the integrity, safety, or proper functioning of the App and its community of users.

We are not obligated to monitor User Content proactively, and any review or action we take is undertaken on a reasonable-efforts basis, not as a guarantee of a fully moderated environment.


16. Community Safety

  • Rathore Sangam is a discovery and discussion platform. We do not conduct identity verification, background checks, or independent fact-checking of user-submitted information.
  • You should exercise caution and good judgment when interacting with other users, and should independently verify any material information (identity, marital status, education, profession, income, business legitimacy, or event details) before relying on it.
  • Any offline interaction with another user — including meetings, communications conducted outside the App (such as over WhatsApp or by phone call), business dealings, or any other engagement arising from your use of the App — is undertaken entirely at your own risk. We are not a party to, and assume no responsibility for, interactions that occur outside the App.
  • If you have concerns about another user's conduct, you may use the Hide Contact Details setting described in Section 13 to limit their ability to reach you, and may contact us using the details in Section 26.

17. Third-Party Services

The App relies on a limited set of third-party service providers to operate certain features, as described in our Privacy Policy, including a provider for OTP-based verification and a provider for cloud storage of uploaded media. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services beyond our reasonable control. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details of how these providers process your data.


18. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, engaged in conduct prohibited under Section 12, provided false information, or otherwise misused the App. Where practicable, we will provide notice of the reason for suspension or termination, except where we reasonably believe that providing notice would be inappropriate (for example, in cases involving suspected fraud or harm to other users).

You may also choose to stop using the App at any time. Discontinuing use without submitting an account deletion request does not delete your data; see Section 19 and our Privacy Policy for how to request deletion.


19. Account Deletion

Account deletion is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, and is summarized here for convenience:

  • You may request account deletion at any time through the App or by contacting us.
  • Upon request, your account immediately enters a deletion state and your profile becomes unavailable to other users.
  • You have a 7-day recovery window during which you may log back in to cancel the deletion request and restore your account.
  • If you do not return within the 7-day window, your account and associated data are permanently deleted, including your personal data and associated uploaded media, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure;
  • Any profile, listing, post, or other User Content is accurate, complete, or reliable;
  • Use of the App will result in any particular outcome, including any matrimonial, business, or social outcome.

We do not verify user statements, profiles, listings, or posts, and we make no representation as to the identity, intentions, or trustworthiness of any user.


21. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its officers, employees, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of data, goodwill, or anticipated outcomes (including matrimonial or business outcomes), arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App, or any interaction with another user, whether such liability arises in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.


22. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, employees, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the App; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any right of a third party, including any right arising from an interaction with another user that occurred outside the App.


23. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App's features, our practices, or applicable law. We will update the "Last Updated" date above when changes are made, and where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the App before they take effect. Your continued use of the App after a change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.


24. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.


25. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App, we encourage you to first contact us using the details in Section 26 so that we may attempt to resolve the matter informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

These Terms and Conditions should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before publication, particularly to confirm the registered business address, Grievance Officer details, and governing-law jurisdiction, which must be supplied by the business owner and kept consistent with the Privacy Policy.
